Resident Evil: Outbreak back online via fan server

If you have a Japanese copy of Resident Evil: Outbreak or Outbreak File #2 and a PS2 capable of playing them, you can take advantage of the efforts of the Outbreak Server Recreation Project. This fan group has put laboriously put together a private server for the survival horror titles, re-enabling online multiplayer years after Capcom retired its official servers. Outbreak first released in the west in 2004 and although fans swear by the experience it was hampered by the PS2's fussy network capabilities and limited online multiplayer user base.
