PS3 hacker George "Geohot" Hotz arrested for marijuana possession

Sony couldn't bring him down, but Texas law sure could.

Famed PS3 hacker George Hotz, better known as Geohot, was arrested on his way to the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas for possession of marijuana. According to AboveTheLaw and spotted by Eurogamer, Hotz has a medical marijuana license from his home state of California, but that don't mean jack in Texas.

He's been charged with a felony and bail has been set at $1500.
