Not a Hero DLC turns Resident Evil 7 into a shooter - watch the first gameplay trailer
Despite having guns, the limited ammo meant that Resident Evil 7 wasn't really a shooter.
You had firearms, sure, but the focus was on survival and puzzle solving. This approach looks to be turned on its head with Resident Evil 7's upcoming DLC, Not a Hero.
Not a Hero stars Chris Redfield, and it takes place after the events of the main game where our hero goes on to investigate a threat. In a new trailer released today at TGS, we get to see Redfield's perspective. To our surprise, the entire trailer shows him shooting up everything.
There's a bit where he punches zombies, too, which is pretty solid. From the looks of things, it seems Not a Hero will lean a lot more on action/shooting. Watch the trailer below:
Not a Hero will release on December 12 alongside End of Zoe, the final piece of DLC for Resident Evil 7. A Gold edition will also hit the same day.
