Microsoft's Spencer, Sensui to deliver TGS keynote

Microsoft Games Studios head Phil Spencer and Xbox Japan boss Takashi Sensui will deliver TGS's opening keynote, the show's organiser has announced.

The address, dubbed "Xbox 360's Vision and 2010's Strategy," will be delivered on September 16, just before the start of TGS's first business day.

CESA will also be hosting a second keynote.

But it's the opening keynote you should be keeping an eye on: Microsoft's ex corporate VP of Xbox Live, John Schappert, delivered the speech in 2008, giving us the announcement of Tekken 6 for 360 and the unveil of Halo 3: ODST.

In 2005, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata used his keynote to unveil the Wiimote for the very first time, while in 2006, Sony's Ken Kutaragi announced a pre-launch price-cut to PS3.

SCEI president Kaz Hirai keynoted the event last year, as well as in 2007.

Tokyo Game Show takes place from September 16-19.

Thanks, Andriasang.
