Medal of Honor: Warfighter gets Australian exclusive packshot

The Australian cover of Medal of Honor: Warfighter differs from that of other territories, and was designed with input from local special forces.

EA Australia apparently consulted with a former Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) member to ensure authenticity. As such, the equipment shown on the cover reflects that actually in use right now by one of the country's most elite units.

The point of all this is, of course, that Warfighter's class-based multiplayer allows you to take on a national identity as one of 12 Tier 1 operator units, including the SASR. Other available squads include the US Navy SEAL, German KSK, Canadian JTF2 and Polish GROM.

The shooter hits PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October. New Zealanders will also be offered the Australian cover.
