MechWarrior Tactics developer acquires Vancouver-based Embassy Interactive

Online and social game developer Roadhouse Interactive has announced it has acquired Vancouver-based Facebook and iOS developer The Embassy Interactive. The acquisition will further strengthen Roadhouse’s development capabilities while enabling the company to "quickly expand its roster of projects." which currently includes Family Guy Online and MechWarrior Tactics, it has said. Effective immediately, The Embassy Interactive will become Roadhouse Game Studios and will focus on new product development for Facebook, smartphones and tablets. Roadhouse will continue to work with third party studios in addition to internal development.
