Kotick admits multi-instrument aspirations for Guitar Hero

Speaking in the May issue of Conde Nast Portfolio magazine, Activision boss Bobby Kotick has admitted that Guitar Hero is likely to go down the Rock Band path of including more instruments.

"It's not just about guitars," he said. "We'll include a lot of other instruments, vocals. It will help us expand internationally. It's the first game we've had in which we can use local content and local bands."

A fourth Guitar Hero game is expected in the back half of 2008.
