Rock Band 4 patch delayed into first week of February

Rock Band 4's promised January patch has been delayed, but totally dope Psychonauts gear is happening sooner to make up for it.

Harmonix confirmed the Rock Band 4 news on its blog, explaining that sometime between February 1 and 5 you'll get audio improvements, "sweet Psychonauts gear", proper leaderboard score postings from Play a Show mode, and the all-important score exploit fixes.

Future "monthly" patches from this point on should actually be monthly, with Harmonix explaining that it had to delay this one in order to catch a big ol' bug that popped up when it made changes to the Overdrive Squeeze Not-An-Exploit. It has since splashed cold water on its face and taken a couple of deep breaths, and should be fine to meet future targets.

Players who are looking to export their Rock Band 1 content into Rock Band 4 will also be pleased to know that the wheels are turning on that front, with Harmonix saying it's "closer than before" but "it's unlikely we'll see them this week".
