King's Quest: Chapter 1 is available for free on all platforms

Activision has made the first episode of King's Quest available for free. This applies to all versions of the game, on consoles and PC.

You can grab the first episode through Steam, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store.

Once you have the first episode, you can either pay $30 for the complete season and a bonus epilogue, or $25 for the season pass, which gets you episodes 2-5.

Chapter 2: A Rubble Without a Cause, and Chapter 3: Once Upon a Climb are currently available.
