Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta kicks off next weekend, pre-load it on February 20
The Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta will kick off next weekend on all platforms.
Each player participating in the Ghost Recon: Wildlands beta will have access to the exclusive “Unidad Conspiracy” mission if they purchase the game and "play it in full by March 31."
Players will need to use the same Ubisoft account for both the beta and full game in order to acquire the content.
The Unidad Conspiracy mission, players are tasked with "sparking a war" between the corrupt militia group Unidad and the Santa Blanca cartel.
As previously reported, the open beta will also introduce a not one, but two provinces among the 21 included in the final game.
These are Itacua, a mountainous province where the grip of the cartel is looser and Montuyoc, set in the snowy Altiplano, a much more challenging area. Luckily, the player will have gained XP and skills boosts by suppressing the Itacua bosses in the first province.
They can, of course, jump right into Montuyoc if they wish but it sounds unwise.
As in the full game, all the content in the open beta will be playable with up to three friends on the same platform via four player co-op, or in single player.
Players will be able to make use of a large variety of vehicles, tactical equipment and weapons as well.
The Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta will run February 23-27, and you can start pre-loading the beta on Monday, February 20.
