Ghost Recon Breakpoint is getting the competitive multiplayer mode Ghost War.

The competitive PvP mode, previously included in 2017's Ghost Recon Wildlands, puts two teams of four head-to-head across seven maps. You can check it out in action below.

 

Ghost War will also include dedicated servers and a shared progressive system between teammates. The news was announced during today's Inside Xbox presentation at Gamescom 2019.

 

The beta Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a game about rogue US military who have turned on their own people, begins September 5. The game officially launches just a month later on October 4 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.
