Evolve lands on Media Create charts in Japan, Dragon Quest Heroes still tops

Turtle Rock's online shooter Evolve released in Japan on March 5, and within three days the game moved 16,851 units.

While the game landed in seventh place on the software chart, it did well considering it had to compete with the likes of Dragon Quest Heroes which moved an addition 67,514 units on PS its second week of release and 35,425 units on PS4.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon also debuted the same day as Evolve, taking position two with 65,226 units moved on 3DS.

Then, there was the continued success of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, God Eater 2: Rage Burst and New Prince of Tennis: Go to the Top arriving on 3DS.

On the hardware charts, all platforms saw a decline in sales save for Wii U which moved 7,379 units compared to 6,606 the prior week.
