Dragon Quest X knocks $30 off the price

Dragon Quest X is launching on PC on September 26th. On the very same day Square-Enix will knock $30 off the price for the Wii and Wii U versions of the online RPG.

The game has been retailing at 6,980 yen ($70), but on September 26th will drop to 3,990 yen ($40). Of course, this price drp doesn't mean much for those of us in the west still patiently waiting to get our hands on the game at any cost. Although a release outside of Japan seems certain, there is still no official word.

Dragon Quest X is officially a year old today. Japanese fans (or keen importers) will be able to celebrate the fact with a second fan book published by V-Jump. The book includes a code for a bonus V-Jump beret accessory item within the game. Meanwhile, we westerners will continue to weep.
