Donkey Kong Country Returns dev isn't handling 3DS port

Donkey Kong Country Returns developer Retro Studios isn't coding the 3DS build. The Metroid Prime team working on something else instead.

An Australian age-classification record states that Excite Truck studio Monster Games is handling the port, begging questions over what Retro Studios is up to at the moment.

Eurogamer dug up an old but interesting developer quote from 2011 that said the team is working on, "a project everyone wants us to do"

Last year Shigeru Miyamoto expressed interest in Retro Studios, stating that they were more than qualified to make a full Zelda game. Is this a tease, or a slip-up from the developer?
