Deep Down: Capcom trademarks PS4 exclusive in North America

Deep Down developer Capcom has trademarked its PS4-exclusive RPG in North America, according to a filing published last month.

DualShockers spotted the filing, which was submitted back in July, but only published online on December 17.

Yesterday, we posted a Deep Down trailer and screens, along with Yoshinori Ono's confirmation that the game would come "soon" after the PS4's February 22 launch in Japan.

Capcom has yet to address the western release of Deep Down, but this trademark filing suggests that it's going to happen eventually. Capcom does have a few Japan-only online RPGs under its belt, but the localisation of Deep Down could come as pleasant news for many PS4 fans.
