The Dead Island: Definitive Collection does indeed include more than upgraded versions of the two Techland games. Dead Island: Retro Revenge has been announced today, and it comes included in the collection.
Retro Revenge has a 16-bit style and it stars a very angry cat owner who is after the zombies that stole his cat. The game is a brawler with power-ups, super attacks, and leaderboard support.
The game popped up earlier this year on a rating board website, leading everyone to believe a major new entry in the franchise was in development.
