Cloud's horribly impractical sword has been created in the real world
In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud carries around like a really big sword. It's as big as he is really, and I've often wondered how he could even hold the thing. Now, the guy who made a real-life version of the Minecraft diamond sword built this Buster sword, and it is completely ridiculous. Video inside.
The four-minute video above shows how Tony Swatton constructed this thing, but the pay off comes at the end, when some dude slices things up with it. I liked that part in particular because the guy doesn't really swing the sword as much as he lets it fall on the objects he's trying to cut, proving once and for all the impracticality of carrying on of these things.
