Thank you for playing the Battlefield: Hardline beta

Battlefield: Hardline might break the growing tradition of the franchise by launching well, if Visceral is taking the beta as seriously as it seems to be.

In the video below, Visceral Games boss Steve Papoutsis thanks players for participating in the Battlefield: Hardline beta. He emphasises that Visceral wants to hear your feedback, and that the developer will be implementing changes based on it.

This is interesting because Visceral has been making a tremendous fuss on this very topic; it made changes to the beta itself in response to feedback. If you'd like to see precisely what those changes were, we have a helpful video summary.

Given that the Battlefield franchise has earned a reputation for launching with plenty of work still to be done - especially Battlefield 4, which release less than a year ago - it's greta to see an EA studio working hard to try and avoid a repeat. Fingers crossed, eh?

Battlefield: Hardline is due on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in October.

Thanks, MP1st.
