Assassin's Creed Syndicate has a day one patch, but it's very small

Assassin's Creed Syndicate has one of the smallest day one patches we've seen.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate does have a day one patch. Fear not though, because it's one of the smallest yet for a AAA new-gen game.

On PlayStation 4, the patch clocks in 534 MB, according to a NeoGAF user, bringing the full game size to around 43 GB for that version.

As for the Xbox One version, Reddit users have reported that it's of a similar size, at 520 MB. The total game size for the Xbox One version will be 40 GB after applying the patch.

We've been playing Syndicate for a few days and will share our impressions later this week.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is out October 23 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will follow four weeks later.
