APB: Reloaded open beta delayed by 'unacceptable' disconnect bug

The APB: Reloaded open beta, due to kick off yesterday, has been pushed back.

A post on the APB: Reloaded Blog announced the delay, which has been put down to a player disconnection issue, which turned up over the past two days.

The problem causes players to be disconnected en masse after a few hours of play time, which the development team consider 'clearly not acceptable' in a beta test.

No ETA has been given on a fix, but if the next patch fixes it, the open beta will proceed.

Closed beta testing continues uninterrupted, and current testers will be rewarded with a special thank you pack once the open beta begins.

APB Reloaded is Gamersfirst's relaunch of Realtime Worlds' failed MMO, All Points Bulletin.

Thanks, Blue.
