Fortnite player discovers teleporters under Wailing Woods
The rift underneath Wailing Woods in Fortnite has apparently turned into a four-way teleporter.
The arrival of Fortnite's patch v6.30 brought with it a change to the game's world that may not be immediately apparent.
In the bunker underneath the Wailing Woods area, there once existed a rift which players like to think will play into what happens in the game's next season. That rift is now gone, replaced instead with a four-way portal.
Reddit user TimSad discovered the portals following the patch's release, but it doesn't look like they're as useful as people hoped. They all drop you into the forest, which is not really far from the bunker.
Still, they can be used as a distraction or as a quick getaway. Some players theorise that more portals will be appearing across the battle royale map, leading to and from different places.
