Wrath of the Machine raid chests await Destiny: Rise of Iron players brave enough to go after Aksis.

Destiny: Rise of Iron offers new and exciting ways to pretend your obsession with this game doesn't hinge almost entirely on the loot cycle, but this video isn't one of them: this is all about those sweet, sweet drops.

As every serious Destiny player knows, the only way to beat RNG is to join it - give yourself as many opportunities for random rewards as possible and one day, one very special day, you might be rewarded. That includes Rise of Iron's new raid, Wrath of the Machine, so if you're making a run you should hunt down all the Exotic chests in the hopes of getting something tasty.

In the video above, Arekkz shows you exactly how to get to each of the Exotic chests in the Wrath of the Machine raid, but here's a rough guide to where to look:

  • Wrath of the Machine hidden Exotic Chest #1

After completing the first Archpriest encounter, proceed to the jumping sequence but leave the main path right at the start to travel through over the high, dark platforms to a room with an Exotic chest.

  • Wrath of the Machine hidden Exotic Chest #2

After defeating Archpriest Vosik for good in the second encounter, follow the path towards the next arena but watch for a platform on the upper right. In the room this leads to, use the pipes and catwalk to find a doorway to the left, leading to the raid's second hidden Exotic chest.

  • Wrath of the Machine hidden Exotic Chest #3

Stop on the last platform before the Siege Engine encounter, coming from Archpriest Vosik. Turn around to spot a beam. Jump to it and walk all the way to the end to find the raid's third hidden Exotic chest on the left.

  • Wrath of the Machine hidden Exotic Chest #4

After collecting the Siege Engine loot, cross the bridge but hand a left up and onto the rocks before going into the cave. Look to the other side of the cave entrance to spot a series of rocky platforms leading to the fourth hidden Exotic chest in this raid - well, so far.

You don't need SIVA Cache keys to open these Exotic chests, by the way; just grab them for your chance at a shiny new weapon or armour piece. It's a great way to build up your Exotic collection and because you're in the raid they'll almost certainly bet higher Light than your current average unless you're at the cap - so even if you get a double it's tasty infusion fodder.
