Valve has announced that Bioshock 2’s coming to Steam, and it’s now up for pre-purchase on the site.

Those who pre-purchase the game via Steam will save 10 percent off the regular price and receive a free copy of Bioshock, and if you already own Bioshock, you may send the extra copy to a friend using Steam’s Gifting functionality.

That’s still not all though. To help folks prepare for Bioshock 2’s multiplayer, a Bioshock 2 Four Pack is also available for pre-purchase offering 10 percent off the regular price plus four free copies of the original game.

Holy plasmid action, Batman.

It was confirmed yesterday, that DLC is on the way for BioShock 2, with the first review stating it “tops the original in terms of storytelling and combat”.

The 2k shooter is out on February 9 for PS3, 360 and PC.
