VVVVVV mobile, Ouya and Vita ports expected in 2014

VVVVVV creator Terry Cavanagh hopes to bring the challenging indie platformer to several new systems this year.

Writing on his blog, Cavanagh outlined his ambitions plans for 2014.

"This year, I’m going to release VVVVVV on PS Vita, on iPad, on iPhone, on Android, on Ouya. And, if I can manage it, all at the same time," he said.

"This will very likely be the last thing I ever do with VVVVVV, and I wanna go out with a bang."

Cavanagh reminded us that Nicalis is handling the Vita port of VVVVVV, but that he personally has had an incomplete iOS build running for a year.

"Over Christmas I spent a little time finishing up the port, and I’m happy to say that the really hard stuff is done, now. I just need a week or two to sort out the details," he added.

Cavanagh was also responsible for Super Hexagon. the rets of the post gives an insight into where some other projects are at the moment; unfortunately it seems like his two shelved passion projects are still on hold.
