According to the Creative Assembly, the team didn't want to rush the game, as it "could be the best Total War game it has ever made," said creative director Mike Simpson.

Due to the shear size of the game, the team also wanted "to make absolutely sure" reviewers had enough time to play it thoroughly before launch.

The studio has also revealed the minimum specs have been finalized, and it will be the first 64 bit Total War title. Specs note an additional detail on the frame rate performance you can expect from each specification.

Framerates noted below are based on PCs using the quoted specs with fresh OS installs and no major background programs running. The studio notes these specs should be taken "as a guide rather than an absolute." The team is also releasing "additional 60fps+ Spec" for those looking to hit that threshold during battles. Additional detail on the frame rate performance you can expect from each specification have been added.

Due to continued development, the game is still undergoing optimization and compatibility testing; therefore, the specs are subject to change.

Further details on graphics settings under each preset can be found through here.
