The Witcher 3: A Greedy God

This quest opens up after Wandering in the Dark. Just south of Wastrel Manor signpost is an exclamation mark, where you'll find two men chatting.

Interact with the altar here and talk to the two men, then use your Witcher senses to examine the crack on it. Follow the scent of wine as it leads you to the stairs.

Inside the crypt you have a two options.

You can either kill the creature and loot the body, which will give you lots of alchemy ingredients such as monster tongue, monster eye, monster hair, monster liver and more. You can then loot the crypt for more stuff.

The better option here is to demand that the creature settles for more humble offerings. You'll get more crowns and experience points although you won't get the monster ingredients that you would for killing it. However, there's lot of loot in the cellar anyway, which you can take with you as a bonus.

Outside speak to the two men and you'll complete the quest. If you decide to tell them about the crypt whenever you come back this way you'll find them dead.
