TF2 Mann Vs Machine update adds new modes and loot

Valve's new update for free-to-play Team Fortress 2's Mann Vs. Machine mode brings two new Tour of Duty missions, some new loot and an improved matchmaking system.

Valve has released details via the TF2 blog of the new update to Team Fortress 2's Mann Vs. Machine mode.

In response to those that felt the difficulty level of the original Tour of Duty mode, Operation Steel Trap, wasn't quite right, Valve has added Operation Oil Spill and Operation Gear Grinder. The former is easier than the original Steel Trap, while the latter is harder still.

New loot in the form of rusty, blood-covered 'bot heads and some 24-carat diamond 'bot heads can be obtained from Operation Oil Spill and Operation Gear Grinder, respectively.

Finally, the update also adds improved matchmaking. For more details about the update and a strange, adapted Goldilocks parable, hit the TF2 blog.
