Team Ninja: Ninja Gaiden 3 will be "more accessible"

Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi has told EG that Ninja Gaiden 3 will be more approachable then previous games in the series.

Hayashi said one of the game's big aims is to be "the number one 3D action game of the time".

"Then, providing excitement, which is not only from the difficulty," he said at last week's Nintendo 3DS showcase in Amsterdam, where Team Ninja was showing off Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

"That's just one of the elements. It's more like having excitement from fighting an exciting boss. That is what we needed."

Asked if the new title was easier or harder then the two previous game, Hayashi said: "Not easy, but it will enable more people to play. More accessible. We don't plan to have Ninja Gaiden 3 only for the really good, skilled people."

NG3, the first in the series from Team Ninja since iconic ex-leader Tomonobu Itagaki left in 2009, was announced at TGS last year.

No platforms or date has been given yet.
