Star Ocean 5 revealed in Famitsu, in development for PS3 and PS4

Star Ocean 5 has been outed in the latest issue of Famitsu.

There's a new Star Ocean game in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 at tri-Ace, published by Square Enix.

The publisher has only recently added a "t" to the word "Star" on the countdown teaser site, which made fans question why they put up with the Japanese publisher's antics.

The cat is out of the bag though because the latest issue of Famitsu has plenty of info about the sequel. According to Gematsu, the game's full title is Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness.

It's set on a planet 6,000 light years away from Earth named Feycreed. Fedel Camus, Miki Sorvesta, Lilia, are the only revealed characters so far. The Famitsu preview mentioned seamless, real-tile battles.

There's no date as of yet, and given the nature of this reveal, there's been no mention of a Western release.
