Harmonix accidentally slips vocal harmonies for Rock Band 3

Someone's going to get shot out in the back yard at Harmonix this morning: a staffer from the dev accidently confirmed vocal harmonies for Rock Band 3.

Project lead for the game Chris Foster dropped the bomb at PAX East over the weekend during a panel (via Joystiq).

"We've said Rock Band 3 would have harmonies already, right?," Foster asked his fellow Harmonixites. Screaming out in unison, they said "No!"

Vocal harmonies were introduced to the series when The Beatles: Rock Band was released last September.

Rock Band 3 was announced at GDC a couple of weeks ago for a release this holiday season.
