GT5's Red Bull X1 is very much (nearly) a real thing

Mind that Red Bull X1 prototype reveal by Sony two weeks back for Gran Turismo 5? It's a real thing. Nearly.

Due to the specs of the car, it can't actually exist in a proper form. But there it is, albeit as a model.

The car will be on show in Madrid at the end of the month for the launch party of the Polyphony racer.

Of course, it isn't a launch party if there's no launch date. You know what you should do Sony? DATE IT.
