Final Fantasy XIII-2 leads supply trailer commentary

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2, replete with detail thanks to commentary from Yoshinori Kitase and the game director Motomu Toriyama.

The developers discuss new and old characters, the evolution of Lightning, "cinematic action", and the meanings behind trailers released so far.

Hit up Gamersyde for a couple of new screens, too.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an unexpected extra entry in Square Enix's loose series, Fabula Nova Crystallis. It stars Serah, sister of FFXIII's protagonist Lightning, and is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan before the end of the year, with a Western launch in early 2012.
