FIFA 10 sells 2 million units in UK

EA's said that over 2.2 million units of FIFA 10 has been sold in the UK.

It comes in the week the company also announced it is developing the World Cup tie-in for PS3, 360, Wii and PSP, which will release before the tournament begins in June on April 30 in the UK.

"There’s no denying FIFA 10 is the best football game ever and the innovations we have brought to the genre over the years have helped get us to where we are now," said Trevor Uzice, marketing director of EA Sports.

When it launched, it was at one point the second biggest launch of a game in the UK until you-know-what came along.
