EA to give BF3 PS3 players Battlefield 1943 - details

EA's confirmed it will give PS3 Battlefield 3 players a copy of Battlefield 1943 after all, after the digital title failed to appear as promised at its bigger brother's launch.

A class action lawsuit commenced in the wake of what was thought to be a reneged deal.

It's not quite so reneged now: EA's to start offering 1943 for those who've activated their BF3 online pass this weekend, with European players getting it first.

It'll then open it up to the US on December 10. Japan will go last on December 17.

EA's said there's been "some misunderstandings" over the affair.

All's well. There's instructions on how to get your code here.
