Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition brings two good PS4 RPGs to Switch and PC this year

A collection of both Digimon Story games is coming to Switch and PC this year, widening the audience for these well-liked RPGs.

The Digimon Story games in this collection - Cyber Sleuth and its sequel, Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory - will be available on PC and Switch for the first time at the end of the year.

These two Cyber Sleuth games are RPGs in which you have your Digimon battle other creatures, and explore a videogame representation of the Internet to solve mysteries. Both games reviewed well, and are generally held up as strong entries into the Digimon series.

Here's a trailer for this upcoming release.

The game will release on October 18. It's not clear if either games' DLC will be included, but the use of the word 'complete' seems to hint at it. Both games originally received additional Digimon after release.

While neither game set the world alight, they're perfectly solid RPGs, and fans of the series will likely enjoy them.

Of course, Pokemon Sword and Shield come out November 15 on Switch, so theoretically the two 'mon franchises will be going head to head. Can Digimon survive with its slight head start?

Both games are available now on PS4 and PS Vita.
