Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls may release on consoles

Newly-announced Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls may make its way to consoles, although Blizzard isn't ready to commit.

Diablo 3 director Josh Mosqueira hinted to Polygon that Blizzard's history suggests a console port is inevitable.

"Our philosophy has always been we work on one project at a time," he said when asked if the expansion is headed to consoles.

"We've got Diablo 3 on PC, we released it and then a small team splintered off to work on Diablo for the current consoles. Now the team's really focused on Reaper of Souls for PC.

"So if you look at the past, you can probably infer what the future might bring. We don't have any announcements at this point."

Diablo 3 is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September, with a PS4 release expected in 2014. It's currently available on Mac and PC.
