The gamescom masses will be the first in the world to get hands-on time with Dark Souls 3.

Namco has announced that it's bringing a playable build of Dark Souls 3 to gamescom 2015 in a few weeks. The demo will be available at the publisher's booth for anyone to play, provided you are not afraid of queues.

Announced at E3 2015, Dark Souls 3 was only shown to the press behind closed doors. Unlike E3, the gamescom demo will be hands-on for everyone.

VG247 will be at the show and we will be sure to bring you coverage of Dark Souls 3 and every other game we can see. Either way, it's looking like this entry will be the most exciting yet, judging by what we played at E3.

Gamescom takes place in Cologne from August 5 to August 9.
