Daemon X Machina update adds Versus Mode, patch fixes a bunch of issues

An update adding PvP to mech-battler Daemon X Machina is now available for the Switch title.

Daemon X Machina released early last month, and today, an update has added PvP Versus Mode to the game.

Versus Mode can be played locally or online against other players.

There's two PvP options available: 1v1 and 2v2. Rule sets include Ranked Match and Custom Match. The former features set rules and global leaderboards, where as the latter allows you to set your own rules (thanks, Gematsu).

You can also challenge other players to a Duel in online Co-Op.

Alongside the update, a roadmap for the game was provided. You can look forward to collaboration content in November; new co-op missions, bosses, weapons and arsenal parts in late-November; and in December new co-op missions, weapons, arsenal parts, and more will be made available.

Alongside the new content comes a patch, which fixes a multitude of issues.

Daemon X Machina was released exclusively on Switch September 13. If you want to try it before you buy it, there's a demo available on the eShop.
