Bloodborne patch focusing on load times, performance optimizations in the works

A patch for Bloodborne which will address load times is in the works, Sony has said

The load times were one of the issues noted in Digital Foundry's report on the From Software title.

Sony told Eurogamer the patch would also explore other issues as well.

"The development team is currently exploring another patch for Bloodborne, seeking ways to improve load time duration, in addition to other performance optimizations and miscellaneous bug fixes," said the representative.

"We will provide more information as soon as possible."

A day-one patch was released with Bloodborne today in North America for launch, and the 2.69GB update 1.01 already contains improvements to game performance and stability. The update also added online co-op, servers for which are now open.

Boodborne is out tomorrow in Europe on PS4 and you can look over review scores round up here.
