Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape: Torment coming to consoles

Enhanced Edition versions of classic Dungeons & Dragons RPGs Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, and Planescape Torment are coming to consoles.

Skybound Games, Beamdog and Just For Games are bringing enhanced,  physical versions of Baldur's Gate and its expansion of Siege of Dragonspear, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights to retail.

All are expected to release on September 27, except Neverwinter Nights which will be made available on December 6.

If you have yet to play any of these awesome games, we highly recommend it.

Each release will contain all relevant DLC and expansions. Full details are below.

Dungeons & Dragons RPGs

  • Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack:  Contains the original Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and its sequel, Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition. Includes all DLC and restored quest content, as well as the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, featuring new original content developed by Beamdog to bridge the two games.
  • Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition / Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition and expansions: Both games in one package with all respective DLC.
  • Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition: Includes 10 standalone D&D-based adventures featuring co-op and online multiplayer.

Beamdog has improved all titles to support HD screens, optimized console controls, new customization possibilities, an online multiplayer mode, a redesigned interface and more.

Each pack will run you $49.99 or your regional equivalent.
