Siliconera cites a source inside the developer for word that Spike Chunsoft has been actively searching for a publishing partner to bring the game west.

The 3DS exclusive was released in Japan in December and went on to sell strongly both at retail and through the eShop.

Called Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind, the action title supports up to four players and stars Erren, Mikasa and Armin.

If you're not familiar with Attack on Titan, or Shingeki no Kyoji as its known in Japan, the manga and anime series is set in a world in which humanity has been driven into walled cities by monstrous humanoid beings called Titans. It follows the adventures of a small group of Survey Corps recruits as they confront this threat - and others more mysterious.
