E3 2018: Mario + Rabbids is headed to Donkey Kong Country
Mario + Rabbids upcoming DLC is a new adventure starring Donkey Kong himself, and it's due soon.
Mario + Rabbids was one of the biggest surprise hits of 2017. This DLC was announced back in January, At Ubisoft's E3 presentation, but Ubisoft has dropped a new trailer during their E3 presser for the brand-new Donkey Kong DLC adventure.
It's a nice tribute to DK's past (yes, the DK Rap is in there), and shows off some gameplay footage of DK in action. It's looking pretty good, and we're loving all of the musical flourishes from Kong's past adventures.
The Donkey Kong Adventure DLC unites Donkey Kong, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Cranky as they team up to face the vengeful Rabbid Kong. The same tactical experience of Mario + Rabbids will return in a new world, with enemies and abilities tweaked to better suit the Donkey Kong formula. It looks like Donkey Kong can do massive damage if he gets up close to an enemy, which is fitting.
The Donkey Kong Adventure DLC launches on June 26, 2018. Mario + Rabbids is available now for Nintendo Switch, and kind of rules.
