No Burnout HD collection in the works as Criterion is busy with new stuff

Burnout developer Criterion is busy working on new games to worry about remastering its classics.

Burnout-car-crash

There are plenty of Burnout fans out there who would love to see an HD collection of all the classic games. One such fan asked Criterion if any remasters are on the cards, and the developer responded.

"Hah! You're not the first with that one," reads the tweet. "Nice idea but it's still not true. We've moved on to newer, even better things!"

These "newer and better things" the tweet is referring to are not known to us at this stage. Back in E3 2014, EA showed off a mini-documentary of the studio that featured little more than shots panning across concept art and has been quiet ever since.

In a another tweet, Criterion confirmed it continues to work on getting Burnout Paradise running on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.

Hopefully we'll know the name of and get a proper look at the studio's upcoming project next June.
