Paul McCartney has decided to release the theme song he composed for Destiny as a single.

Back in 2012, it was announced McCartney was working alongside former Bungie composer and Halo’s music maestro, Marty O’Donnell and his collaborator Michael Salvatori.

According to the New York Times, the theme was recorded at the famed Abbey Road studio using a 120-piece ensemble directed by Giles Martin – son of Beatles producer George Martin.

Produced by Mark “Spike” Stent, a release date for the single has yet to be announced as of press time.
