Pokémon X & Y – odiferous and olfactory Pokémon Aromatisse and Slurpuff announced

More Pokémon have stepped up to the Pokémon X & Y plate, and the critters are Aromatisse and Slurpuff.

According to Nintendo Life, Slurpuff is the evolved form of cotton candy Pokémon Swirlix who has a great sense of smell – like 100 million times more sensitive than that of humans. This could be a blessing and a curse, i reckon.

Anyway, he uses this amazing ability to detect even the faintest of odors – what this does in battle I have no idea.

Aromatisse is the evolved form of Spritzee and instead of smells things, it emits a variety of odors which ranges from lovely to horrid. This allows Aromatisse to attract or repel opposing Pokémon.

Look out, Slurpuff.

Pokémon X & Y releases worldwide on October 12 for 3DS.
