Alan Wake PC launch bonus extended, US retail plans shaky

Ongoing issues with the US distribution of Alan Wake PC has resulted in a nice bonus for digital gamers.
Remedy will offer the game's Collector's Edition DLC free for one more week on Steam, to compensate for lack of an update on the retail release.
"While Nordic Games is doing an awesome job with the Europe retail versions, releasing on March 2nd, unfortunately we haven't locked down a distributing partner in North America as of yet," the developer wrote on the game's Facebook Page.
"We're working very hard to resolve this. We'll keep you all updated as details arise."
Alan Wake's digital PC release broke even in less than two days.
