Naughty Dog is pleased that Neil Burger will be directing Uncharted film
Naughty Dog has said it’s pleased that director Neil Burger has signed on to helm the Uncharted movie, and his ideas for the flick are seen as a good omen for fans of the game franchise.

Uncharted’s original conception drifted more towards fantasy than reality
Don Poole, a former Naughty Dog employee who worked as an environment modeler for the firm, has suggested Uncharted may have been a fantasy game if not for Sony feeling pressure form the success of shooters on Xbox 360.

Uncharted novel, comic series get release dates
So, reading. It’s quite the thing, apparently. While Kinect, Move, and their ilk try to do away with controllers as much as possible, reading requires only a pair of un-blinded eyes. Pretty wild, huh? Being the trailblazer that he is, Nathan Drake hopes to tame this amazing technology using a two-pronged attack composed of comics and a novel.

Uncharted 3 panel at Comic-Con videoed
Sony has posted a highlight video of the Uncharted 3 panel from Comic-Con, and we’ve tossed it below the break for you. The panel, which was attended by Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig, also had Emily Rose (Elena Fisher), Richard McGonagle (Sully) and Nolan North tossing in a few bits of information here and there as well. Naughty Dog details Uncharted 3 goodies and panel for Comic-Con
Naughty Dog has said it has a “ton of news to reveal,” on Uncharted 3 at Comic-Con this week which will come from a panel on Friday from 4-5 pm/PST where Nolan North and others will be on hand to discuss the mo-cap, and story side of game. However, there’s much more than that going on.

Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells has said that if the script called for it, he’d have no qualms about killing-off a main character in the Uncharted series.

Anonymous sources have told the LA Times Sony wasn’t pleased by David O. Russell’s ideas for the upcoming Uncharted script, leading to the director stepping away from the project.

Rumor – NGP to launch outside of Japan first, four launch titles revealed
