Dead or Alive 5 Plus is heading to PS Vita on March 20th in Japan. Tecmo Koei has now released a new trailer for Team Ninja’s brawler, showing how the PS3 and PS Vita editions stack up.

Dead or Alive 5′s patch issues to be corrected this month
Dead or Alive 5 will receive a new patch during February, to correct an issue with critical stagger escapes introduced in the last title update. The patch, which will release for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version has not been dated, but will release alongside two Xbox 360 DLC packs, Hotties Swimwear and Zack Island Stage. Team Ninja made both announcements via Twitter.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus has Cross Play, Cross Save, Cross Buy DLC
Dead or Alive 5 Plus, the Vita version of Team Ninja’s latest fighter, will support Cross Play, Cross Save and Cross Buy DLC, Siliconera reports. That means portable players will be able to challenge PlayStation 3 rivals and vice versa; you can take your story progress with you when you switch systems; and any costumes you’ve purchased or otherwise obtained for your bouncing brawlers will be available in both versions. Dead or Alive 5 Plus is expected on March 19 in the US and March 22 in Europe. More details can be found through the US and EU PS Blogs.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus release dates announced for the west
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has been given a release date for the west. The Vita title will release on February 26 in US and on March 1 in UK. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will contain a lower-level mode for new players called Hero Mode which sports modified controls allowing players to use the Vita touchscreen to toss opponents. Another new mode called Ninja Race allows the player to grab items which increase Ryu’s speed, and to chain enemy kills and increase attack power. There’s also the Tag Mission Mode which gives players more time with Ayane, Momiji and Rachel. The game is a remake of the PS3 version which was a remake of the Xbox 360 version.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge gets Kasumi DLC screens
Ninja Haiden 3: Razor’s Edge is launching January 11th on Wii U across Europe, but it’s already out Stateside. Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja has released a batch of screens for the game’s incoming Kasumi DLC. The Dead or Alive mainstay can be seen tearing blokes to shreds. See the carnage below.
