Rocket League passes 14 million players

Rocket League developer Psyonix has revealed that the game has passed 14 million players across all platforms.

Although the number seems large, and it is, it's not reflective of actual sales. The number of players includes things like split-screen accounts as well as all players who got the game for free with their PlayStation Plus subscription.

Psyonix revealed the good news earlier through Twitter.

Hoops, the basketball-themed Rocket League mode, will be available next week for free.
