Lords of the Fallen dev doesn't know why it's been kicked off the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale

Lords of the Fallen was on sale, and now it is not, and nobody seems to know why.

Yesterday, Lords of the Fallen was discounted to £7.50 or local equivalent, despite not being listed in the Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale.

Hours later, the price was back up to £50, disappointing many who'd hoped to take advantage.

According to developer Deck 13, the game was indeed supposed to be discounted as part of the Ultimate Game Sale.

Adding further mystery, Microsoft has denied the game should have been discounted at all.

"Lords of the Fallen on Xbox One is not part of the Ultimate Game Sale Feb. 17 – 23," the platform holder told Videogamer in a statement.

Sounds like a communication breakdown between the two companies. Hang tight and maybe the price will drop again.
